Bacchus Beer Blogges Series

As you know, I mentioned a little while back about a big secret that was revealed involving Bacchus and 5 other bloggers from the Brisbane area. Well, the word is out and these beers will be ready and tapped on the 17th of December! Tipplers will be hosting the event with all the bloggers on hand to talk about the beers they helped create. I, alas, will not be there (“But we wanted to meet you and get an autograph” I can hear you all crying now). I’m currently still in Saskatoon, sitting in -25C weather, with very few selections of decent beer, until January 5th. So for my sake, please make it to Tippler’s and have one of each of the creations, talk to all the bloggers, and say that Brews and Bacon sends his love; his jealous, green love.

The beers to feature are as follows:

From 250beers.com – Imperial IPA
From thewestbender.com – English Porter
From drunkenspeculation.com – Flanders Rosella Ale
From whatbeertodrink.com – Passionfruit Pilsner
From chasingale.com – Hopfendunkelweizenbock
And from yours truly – Bacon and Maple Russian Imperial Stout I have dubbed “Hog Blog Grog”!

Be sure to check out the blogs from the folks above. They write some top quailty stuff. I’ll let you view the names they’ve come up with on their blogs, or you can just be pleasantly surprised when you get to Tippler’s on the 17th at their creative naming. Also, keep an eye out for #bacchusbeerbloggersseries on Twitter and you can view info on the event on Facebook here.

There will be a second kegging of Hog Blog Grog when I return, so I will be sure to keep you updated as to when and where I will be enjoying this bad boy!
